existing magazine style radio/podcast show

• Rooster Teeth podcast: this a pod cast which consisted of a group of you-tuber who talk about what they have done and their hilarious stories from their past, they also talk about their opinions of movies shows and video games and how well they think they did and the bad things.

• BBC radio 1: I listened to the Nick Grimshaw call or delete with Ollie Locke, which is an interview broadcast, where the presenter asked a celebrity if he would call or delete certain people he has worked with in the past.

• BBC 4 extra: I listened to a drama called burning chrome by William Gibson which is based on cyber hacker in cyberspace and is read by Adam sims, a radio drama is different to other radio shows, it is like an audio book, a person read a book and is dependent on music and sound effect, this actually helps attract an audience and keeps them on the edge with multiple videos to the story, like a soap opera. but the difference between  radio dramas and radio talk shows is that radio talk shows don't actually have a specific subject and could be about anything making it spontaneous, yet radio drama's are really intense and stick to one subject.

audience research

My groups target audience is 'people living Maida vale' who want to learn more about their area and whats going on, and to find out what is going on in the future, so to do this we researched information and plans made by Westminster for the people, when we searched this up on Google.com, about 624 thousand results were found in 0.42 secs.

genre research

I screen shot this part of the screen because this is the most important part of my research. As you can see, the genres listed are: Children, Comedy, Drama, Entertainment, Entertainment and Comedy, Factual, Learning, Music, News, Religion and Ethics, Sports. each of these genre are different in their own way meaning they all talk about different subjects, for example, Music is based around music, sports is about sports, factual is like a vocal documentary. and the one i will be focusing on is news since this is the type of radio show me and my group are doing.
